GLEN HURSEY

Glen Hursey was a graduate of Glenford High School where in 1948 they advanced to the final four. He was All Ohio for 3 years and is still the 13th leading scorer in Ohio basketball history with 2,341 points. Glen’s team was 27-5 in 1945-46, 32-6 in 1946-47 and 36-2 in 1947-48. At Ohio University he was named 1st Team MAC & All Ohio in 1951 & 1952. He officiated basketball and football games and tournaments for 25 years. He was assigned to 10 OHSAA Boys State finals and worked OAC and MAC College games for over 10 years. He is in the OHSAA Official’s Hall of Fame, Sheridan HS Athletic Hall of Fame, Perry County Baseball Hall of Fame.
