Most Valuable Player in the Ohio Class AA tournament when River View High School of Warsaw won the 1982 championship. A two-time All-American and three-time Mid-American Conference player of the year at Ohio University. Set OU and MAC records by scoring 2,449 points and grabbing 1,223 rebounds. Led Bobcats to the MAC title in 1986 and was most valuable player in the tournament. Averaged 23 points and 11.7 rebounds in MAC games. Voted MAC player of the decade for the 1980s. In 2005-06, her third year as head coach at River View, the Lady Bears won the Division II state title with a 26-1 record.
